As we prepare to return to in-person instruction on our campuses, it is essential that parents/guardians of all students (both returning and new) complete our Aeries Online Data Confirmation.  Please pay close attention to confirming your student’s current address and emergency contacts. In addition to parents/guardians, we recommend listing at least 2 additional emergency contacts.
An Aeries Parent/Guardian Portal account is set up using the email you provided through on-line enrollment. You will receive an email from Alta Vista with instructions on how to access your Parent/Guardian Portal account shortly after you have completed online enrollment.
If you have not received an email with this information, please contact Tiffany Maggio, at the Alta Vista school office at 530-885-7067 ext 1229 or
  • Log onto your Aeries Parent/Guardian Portal account
  • Your parent/guardian page will inform you that you have not completed Online Data Confirmation.
  • Follow each step as directed. The program will walk you through each step and will prompt you to confirm various information.
Our office staff is available to help you with this process if you need help.
Thank you for making this a top priority!

Alta Vista Community Charter School is an extraordinary organization of experiential, project-based learning, built upon a foundation of partnership among our Governance Council, students, exceptional staff, highly involved families, and supportive district authorizer.  Our founders chose the charter school model because of deeply held beliefs that parent choice in education is a right, that schools should be held accountable for student learning, and that infusing learning with real-life experiences cultivates successful, responsible and valuable citizens.
Alta Vista is known for the incredibly welcoming, caring and supportive nature of our community. Our small size size allows us to build strong, trusting connections and advance the school’s work on behalf of our students. Relationships are the essential component for our students progress. The Alta Vista team believes that every child is exceptional and has a right and responsibility to cultivate and nurture their own unique interests and abilities.
My goal as the educational leader of this school is to inspire children and staff to reach for their full potential in an environment that nurtures curiosity, collaboration, respect, and civic responsibility. Experiential education has been at the heart of my work in education since founding my first charter school in 2005. I am honored to be a member of the exceptional team of educators, paraprofessionals and staff members at Alta Vista.  We hope you will visit our campus to learn more about our program.
Camille Taylor, Ed.D.
